A playback singer is a person whose vocals are
recorded to be used in the movies. The recording is done on the
soundtrack and in the film; the actor/actress performs the lip movement
in such a manner that it gives a feeling as if they are singing. This is
how the songs are recorded in most of the Bollywood films. Playback
singing contributes a great deal in bringing the film on the forefront,
