Sawai Gandharva Sangeet Mahotsav is a famous music festival which is celebrated every year in Pune, Maharashtra. The festival was inaugurated in 1953, to mark the first death-anniversary of Sawai Gandharva. Disciples of Sawai Gandharva organized a music festival in his remembrance with the patronage of Arya Sangeet Prasarak Mandal.
